Dara Dajani is an Architect, a mother, a travel information scout, and a language enthusiast and Founder of Marhaba Seema.
She holds a Bachelor of Architecture Engineering from the American University of Beirut, a Masters in Architectural Management & Design from IE University in Madrid, and is a LEED Accredited Professional specialized in Neighborhood Development. She is well versed in the technicalities of Project Management, research implementation, planning, and Sustainable Developments.
In her previous roles, she has been involved in designing, coordinating, and managing a variety of Architectural & Interior Design Projects throughout the region. Her duties included conceptual design and schematic development of master plans, medium & high rise buildings, housing developments, and prestigious hotels; coordination among various stakeholders including Sub Consultants, Clients, and Contractors on large, complex projects. Management and coordination between multiple disciplines and consultants in the country, as well as overseas; coordination with local authorities and pursuing Building Permits which entailed knowledge in local and International Building Codes.
In 2012 she became a LEED Accredited Professional, specialized in sustainable Neighborhood Development. Following her accreditation in Sustainable Design and in parallel to her duties as an Architect and as a Project Coordinator, her responsibilities expanded to include reviewing green building design, systems, and materials; following up on credits achievement, as well as coordination with third party commissioners.
Between 2017-2022, she worked as a Sr. Architect with Khatib & Alami, a leading Engineering and Architectural Consultancy. One of the most prominent Projects she worked on is Dubai EXPO 2020's KSA Pavilion, designed by Boris Mika.
Today she works with KPMG in Riyadh, as a consultant in the Advisory Department. And she invests her free time in creating children's books to teach her daughter Seema the Arabic language; as well as research the different countries, and cities, she plans to visit with her family in the future.
